Domain Road, South Yarra
Located opposite Melbourne's world famous Botanic Gardens, Demaine Partnership working with designer Stephen Akehurst sought to create an apartment complex that maximized the benefits of this asset. The solution: unique external balconies measuring more than 4 metres in depth for the full width of the building frontage, screened by adjustable shutters and warmed by open fires. This opens the possibility of a fully furnished indoor-outdoor space usable throughout the year, with vistas towards the gardens.
This feature reinforces the large, spacious and elegant apartments, with one apartment per level over the first and second floors, and a single penthouse over two levels on the top two floors. This exclusive building has undoubtedly adopted the mantle of Melbourne's finest apartment complex.
