Portsea Residence, Portsea

Located at Portsea on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula, this home is the first stage of the redevelopment of a family compound overlooking Port Philip Bay. The dramatic cantilevered roof forms are reinforced by the strong horizontals of the ground floor sunshades, all intricately detailed in copper. The massive blade walls are set against a hill side adjoining the residence and constructed in South Australian Wistow stone.  Extensive glass walls 3.6 metres high give outstanding sea views from all principal living and bedroom areas.
