Early Commercial Works
Demaine Partnership has a long heritage in commercial development extending to landmark buildings such as the former BP house (now the Domain Towers), Mayne Nickless House and LGSF Building (all on St Kilda Road), Jetset House (Queens Road). These projects are characterized by a strong attention to technical detail, in the case of Mayne Nickless house a sophisticated drained façade that reduced surface water movement across the precast modules and ensured that the façade remained clean and free of the sorts of ‘concrete cancers’ that have often plagued other buildings of the period. This commitment to creating quality and lasting outcomes have resulting in buildings that are excellent low maintenance assets for their owners.
