PHILOSOPHY
The philosophy of Demaine
Partnership centres on technical and design excellence. Technical
priorities include process management from briefing to final
handover and beyond. We place particular emphasis on meeting all
the budget and schedule objectives of our projects, while achieving
architectural excellence. Our directors, together with a team of
architects, are involved in the supervision and design of each
project from the initial stages of planning through construction
and post-construction.
We believe that good design
emerges from accurately meeting our clients requirements. We
achieve this through intensive dialogue, which continues throughout
the building design and implementation process. However we add
further value to this process through independent research. We look
for better solutions, and a number of patent applications for
building technologies are testament to this commitment. We also
engage in debate in seeking new solutions to both emerging and
existing building programs. The Ideas section of this website
presents some of those concepts for consideration and, we hope,
dialogue.
Demaine Partnership’s design
solutions are driven by the specifics of the brief, not a
predetermined design style. We seek to create structures that fit
with their environment, are functional, carefully crafted and
aesthetically pleasing. |
