Experience
Simon Hanger joined Demaine
Partnership in 1973, becoming an associate director in 1980. He
became a partner in 1986.
Simon has extensive experience in
the documentation and contract administration of complex projects.
His project management skills, understanding of issues relating to
building contracts and ability to work with builders to achieve
high quality outcomes are attested to by his recent work in
implementing both the KIngs Apartments and One Wallace Avenue
projects.
Simon also enjoys the challenge
of projects embodying complex technical criteria. His work over a
long period for RMIT University in implementing a range of complex
building projects demonstrate this skill, both in dealing with the
logisitics of delivering buildings containing diverse and
sophisticated accommodation, but also in working with client and
user groups to arrive at outcomes satisfactory to a range of
parties, sometimes with conflicting aspirations.
Simon's management skills and
abilities are complemented by his qualification as an accredited
mediator.
