JETSET
HOUSE
Jetset House is an office
development at 3-5 Queens Road, facing directly down Kings
Way.
One of the earliest buildings in
Melbourne designed using the transfloor structural system, and with
a seraphic glass façade, its challenging location and town planning
issues led to sophisticated plan form configuration. The facetting
of the facade and the trapezium plan shapes successfully provide a
building form with a presence that addresses not only to the
termination of the Kingsway vista, but the frontages facing St
Kilda Road and towards Queens Road.
Building services included high
performance lifts, zoned airconditioning, a high ratio of
underground parking spaces, 24-hour access and key card security
systems.
